I believe i drilled my original pulley out to be 7/8" It fit on the alternator like a glove,
The problem with my overcharging was resistance in the wire so the alternator was thinking the battery was very low on charge and needed all the charge it could get from the alt.
I bought2 gallons of paint from rapco. One gallon of lusterless OD current issue and one gallon of flat black. They said I need some xylean thinner to spray it. Im going to harbor freight to get me a paint gun for one time use
I have got a M35A2 and im ready to paint it. I have been searching online and such, but nothing good comes up where i can buy it. Their is places in the UK but international shipping with paint is fround upon maybe?
Where are you all buying OD Green paint from? Is it online or from Oreilly's...
Thats awesome! im glad you are into MV's! hopefully you will own a MV one day! Im only 20 and ive dreamed about owning a MV and it came true one day on Craigslist :mrgreen: There is good deals out there you just have to wait for the right one. And have the money ready at a quick notice.

Update: The wolverine guys didn't ever message me. So i went with TM America 's bracket and got a 27Si 24Volt 80 Amp alternator on line. Now im having problems with over boosting aua when its idling the voltage is 27.5 where i want it. Then when i free rev it to 2000 RPM the voltage goes up to...
That one is for a prestolite and mine is for a leece-neville they look alot different. ive called everyone it seems for a VR for that thing and i come up with nothing lol. Ive called Erik's also. They are very smart with MV!
I just painted the wheels black too! It looks so much better, Except i cant get that last cross over thing off the bed (i dont know what its called) I guess im going to try and cut it off, I think its just rotted because that one is wood.
Thanks man! im waiting on my wolverine alternator upgrade now. hes alittle behind at the moment. Mine went out and im just not into paying $450 for a new generator
