I would check to see if there is power to the switch, then check to see if said power is getting through the switch, then I would check to see if the power is making it to the fan and also make sure it has a good ground if all this in order the fan might be bad.

I used a 24v to 12v power converter to power the radio I mounted it behind the passenger seat. I just bought a wiring kit for subwoofer amp and just hooked it to the batts it 24v configuration. Then I could hook up anything what I wanted to the 12v side of the converter
Make sure you keep that fifth wheel plate greased you don't want the fifth wheel to lock up to the trailer when trying to turn. That certainly would not be fun. 2cents
