in the first photo there is a relay missing and in the last photo there is a control box missing from the bottom front area and a circuit breaker missing from the top left. I will be able to help more when I get my 1031 home. I am trying to get the engine governor (speed control) working on...
I tried to get engine to rev up with the governor to run the generator today and it did not work. I did notice the actuator trying to move when I turned on the switch for governor control. I also noticed when I turned the switch on the pto indicator light would dim slightly and brighten up when...
Thanks for all the info on what to look for. I am slowly working my way through the list. I guess I will check everything listed and then give it another try. I just don't want to get out on the road and this thing start the Death Wobble at 55 mph. I dont think I could keep it out of the ditch...
I am running standard goodyear wranglers. The steering box has new bolts and I have actually replaced the tires and wheels with some from another truck. Still no change
I have an 85 1008 that gets a deadly front end shimmy when I hit a bump in the road. It just does not do it every time. I have replaced tie rod ends, drag link, shocks and steering damper. I had the tires ballanced and the front end checked by 2 different shops. Everyone tells me that everything...
OK, I know the standard people that sell mighty mite parts, but I
wanted to see if anyone here had any parts for sale. I have the
shutters and the screen that goes in front of them. I am looking for
all of the rest of I guess what you would call the grill parts. The
mite I just bought is missing...
I know the mite has oil pressure because the indicator light works, but I want to know how much pressure it should have. I just don't trust the (idiot) light I plan on putting a mechanical gague on the engine to see what it reads. I am curious about the condition of the oil pump because I...
Thanks for the info. I would like to have a copy fo the CH-34 with the mule under it. I will check out Mail Call and see if I can find the video's.
That is a great shot of the mule under the Blackhawk.
I have decided to start collecting mule photos to build a book for people to look at when i...
I have run the mule tire tubeless. I like it better with a tube. If anything hits the tubeless valve stem you can end up with a flat. I had my mule at a show and a little boy stepped on the stem accidently while getting on to have a photo made. So I had to fix a flat tire at the show. Bill...
I am trying to get the summer top on my mite and found out that I dont have the brace/support rods for the sides or rear. Anyone have size and length of the rods. Photos of the ends would be great
I didnt find anything when I tore down the carb. I stripped it all the way down cleaned it then put in a new kit. It seens to be better but still has a slight hesitation on acceleration from idle. That may be caused by the timing. That is next on the list to check.
Congrats on the mule. I have 2- A5 2 wheel steer and love them. 1 is restored for show and the other is what I call motorpool ready. Get to know Bill Watson in Greensborough NC. Fantastic fellow and an excelent resource for parts and questions. Bill Watson Mules
I got the mites home yesterday and took the best one out for a test drive. There was a little gas coming out of the drain behind the diaphram. As far as running,it ran perfect, idle was good and had great acceleration. I went in and cleaned the carb and replaced the diaphram. Now it has a...
I just bought 2 M422A1 Mites. I need a windshield, grill and left fender for 1 of them but the other is already restored.Any idea on finding parts? I will post photos soon
