I posted a reply...which I am not seeing now....but see pics in attachments new relay made in the USA...key did not start had to jump relay...engine started right up...will check the ignition switch...any help would...the Corps taught to shoot...not trouble shoot
Well installed a Made in America relay...still no start...jumped relay engine started right up...So its got to be the ignition switch....the relay I installed is a heavy duty continuous...weighs three as much made in BOSTON!!!!!!

I aint no wrench...but I'd get rid of the coffin fuel filter and get a Napa water/fuel separator...forget the water in fuel indicator connector go fuel in fuel out to IP...plenty of threads on this....this was my biggest problem when I first started this trip down the rabbit hole...
thanks Doghead for the reply and Acehigh...yes I put a mutimeter on all four with ground to the firewall ground..nothing will goto NAPA in the AM to get another relay...bad connection to what?

I work for Napa...went to buy a electrical fuel pump...with the most GPH...if I am correct, the availialbe pumps are rated to 25 to 40 GPH...my M1008 is around I belive to be 25GPH...hope it helps its a stock number your looking for:|
What has worked for me is to FIRST go to a spin on fuel filter, get rid of the old coffin fuel filter and housing. Use the old bracket, get some brass fittings, fuel in fuel out. Second get rid of the resistor step down bank, directly behind the engine on the firewall, that way if one glowplugs...
Yeah, had the same problem, got my chinese tubes from napa. As per the TMs, they should be changed during every tune-up. They are tedious to change, with those small clamps, but can be bone...Good Luck
