    Biggest Tires Without a Lift

bshupe, no, please do. The winch weight is 125lbs, which is why I am going to amsteel synthetic rope. And I can always relocate the winch towards the rear. Amsteel rope is supposed to be a third lighter. In the event I go max weight, I wanted the highest rating I could afford. I think your...

    Water injection in the 6.2?

    Single Stack Exhaust Install

Don't know what kind of muffler, nothing fancy, but told installer to make it as quiet as possible. Here is the link to the video for the sound effects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP-x26LeP-4&feature=youtu.be There are many electrons (electric charges) in the air. These electrons move...

    Single Stack Exhaust Install

Will post video real soon, so that you all can hear it. I wanted it as quiet as possible, for stealth, LOL. If I put the snorkel in the middle of the hood, the police might get me for obstructed view violation, the snorkel will go where the vent is on the side. The exhaust port is there already...

    Single Stack Exhaust Install

Installed a new single stack exhaust. Old exhaust was fairly rusted, like swiss cheese. Went with a single stack to save cash, and in the event I have to go swimming one day. Performance jumped, and is more silent than the old dual exhaust setup. Will also install a heat shield. Next project is...

    Picking up an m1008

When I got my M1008, it had a hard time starting, PO did not understand problems associated with the 1008. First thing I did was get rid of the coffin filter and goto spin on fuel filter. Go with Doghead conversions, get rid of the resistor bank and go to manual glow plug... Good Luck

    No start frustrations.

    Fuel Tank Sending Unit M1008

Fuel Sending Unit I work for Napa, just ask for the sending unit for the "correct side sending unit". When I replaced my unit, I flushed my tank with water. I let it air dry, and put alcohol to flush out the rest of the junk in there. Then cut out the hard connection fuel tube and added rubber...

New Old Warn Winch 8274 Install

Thanks again rickf, I think I need to first get the winch opened and inspect the guts, verify the serial numbers to check specs for upgrade and service. Maybe the 8274 has the weaker motor or whatever. Appreciate the help rickf. What do you think?
