id be interested to know...i just bought a 929a2 out of Norman back in September. Paid more than I wanted but its a real clean truck with only 2700 miles...
I've got the materials to build sideboards to help increase the capacity, but haven't built them yet...

I really want to add a winch to my 929a2...
ill be watching this thread, as I haves winch on my m817 that I want to swap over...I guess I need to be on the lookout for a winch kit, but I won't need the pto or the winch, just all the lines and cables...
I'd say with the proper tools you can complete the set in 10 minutes or so, for a large run of them, maybe faster with a jig setup for the cutting and grinding..but there's no doubt that a company doing them has overhead...the tools, the guy doing them, the blasting, the paint, and so on....
No problem...I wanted to post pics to compare them. I dont have a pic of the other ones sold in the Classifieds, but I wouldnt be surprised if they were the same...I think the ones I pictured look the same as the OP...

For about 5 minutes of work, search google for "B2394". I bought 4 from Kaffenbarger for $7.83 a piece...
i had to cut maybe 1/4" from the length, then grind the indented part, and bolt them on....I'll post a pic...
in -10, on page 1-74 it shows the winch system and 1-76 shows the dump system....
I didnt see any mention of how the m930 is setup...I guess it probably uses 2 4 port valves? one for each system?
I cant imagine it having 2 pumps off the PTO though?
I wonder if this may be more hassle than its...

I've looked for some info on the m930 (dump with winch), but havent been able to find much...Any idea how the hydraulic system is on it? Surely they would use the pump that powers the dump for the winch too right?
Hmm...wish I could find the thread...Now when you say the frame extensions are different, are they actually a different shape and size, or are just the bolt holes different. I guess it may not be hard to find a set of 939 series extensions...

ive got a 1968 multi m817 with winch. I'm waiting for delivery of a m929a2 without winch. Will the winch, frame extensions, and bumper from the 817 bolt straight to the 929? Are the frame rails the same width? Holes already drilled?
