Milsurp;
Looks good! Where in Colorado are you? I'm in Rifle, if ya need some help or parts let me know :wink: I have some misc. parts laying around, and I know a few guys here in Co. that can help ya also.
When I said I'd like to "add" I'm saying get the real TM! Nothing beats a real book in your hand! Can't depend on cd's or the "www" to be there when you need them! I tried to check in here in the morning but the site was down, but my TM was still there!
Pretty sure there's no "copyright" on the M37, can't find one on my 1955 TM. I would like to add, if ya can find a real TM 9-8030 buy it! Beats the hell out of a cd! I know I can thumb through the book a whole lot faster than my computer can find the info on a disk!
Interesting? Most research I've done, and pictures I've seen is the opposite? I can say one thing for sure, the hard top on "my" M37 was on it from day One....I'm thinking that the limited number of tops made (mine is #922) forced others to use the CCKW top as a mod????
TACMED,
I have a 100% original 1953 M37 with Artic top , it is the rectangle rear window! The oval window is a modified version. Most hard tops went to USAF rigs (keep the fly boys happy)! When I pulled my top off I could still see the "stratus blue" meant for the Air Force. My next...
Must be the Naglich's Grampa :devil: AKA Foxhole Joe, take the money and run. Butthole joe won't use paypal or credit cards so it's really hard to make a claim, in the end we will prevail.......Just don't buy from these fool's no matter how rare or good the deal is :nono:
It's a great idea, a long, long time ago I suggested the same thing, which would go hand in hand with the member map. My thought was to add a field (box) in the profile that you could check if you were or were not willing to help a member in need of help, then from there add the rest of the...
JimR, Very cool truck :cool: It dose'nt matter what its painted like....Once a deuce...always a deuce [thumbzup] I like that FD theme, like you said , opens doors [^]
I thought the tags were a bit "different" :eyes: Just glad they were there and I know the cop who did my vin inspection [^] Sure did'nt want to grind off all that rustproofing and paint :nono: Legally he could have made me so he could see the permanent numbers stamped on the frame, but he...
Your Vin will be stamped on the frame ;-) I got lucky with my last deuce, it had two extra Vin plates they put on it at Toole when they rustproofed it. One is a tag hanging off the frame where they sprayed over the stamped Vin, and they also put a tag inside the vent on the drivers side [thumbzup]
Trust Me I read his feedback :banghead: But it was too Late [:(!] When I saw Rick (LH7) left -feedback, I knew I was in trouble! I'm a nice guy most of the time [^] But this guy draws things out so by the time I had a problem, I could'nt leave feedback :banghead: He has his scam...
