the 395 85 r20 are almost the same diameter as the 11.00x20 tires on a 5 ton, so if you use the speedo adapter from a 5 ton you should be close if not right on the money.
try a military vehicle junk yard. they may have a title or two laying around, and there are sources that can help you with the dash plate. just a thought
tubeless rims have a inner rim profile that allows the tire to to move toward the center of the rim to allow the bead to go over the edge of the rim. the split rim does not have this, so it will most likely damage the tire to mount it in that manor
if you are experiencing an air leak around the or near the valve area, then it is in fact a failed "O" ring. you will have to order new o rings and replane them.. this is not an uncommon problem with combat rims, and once the O ring is replaced, you should enjoy a few years of trouble free...
i think they are drop-in tie down points for the LMTV/MTV series trucks in use now. they drop in to a point in the bed and are pinned in to give the truck a point to secure a shelter in the bed.
the rear suspension is not in yet. was paying particular attention to that part of the show. nice job on the bob job, but the rear cross member that the pintle bolts to was installed upside down. may not be important, unless you are going to use the truck to haul something, then the pintle...
If I had known you needed the TM, i would have sent it with the tent frame. i might be persuaded to come up and help you put it up, if i am out of a job in the not too distant future.
how difficult is it to make the swap, and are there any preparations that will be need to either the engine or the transmission to make it all come together.
as for the starter, it is a standard military starter just like the deuce and the 5 ton 800 and 900 trucks. the 900 starter has an insert in the bolt holes where it meets the bell housing. drive em out and put it in
i took my heater off my fender skirt to get at the injector pump and thought there could be another place to mount it. the A3's have them mounted under the dash, and thought maybe some one here has pics of the mounting and pics under the hood where the hoses hook up to the heater core.
