I know the ground your referring to and I actually Wasn't using it because I'm not running a blackout light. It was dangling
free last night and when I was checking all my grounds I cleaned it and grounded it to the back of the turn lamp with the other two grounds.
funny thing is, it wasn't...
I think these led headlights are wired wrong and they react to each other. I have zero idea why but the factory lights I took off work fine when I reconnect them... The led lights I'm sending back are China made crap... The lights I just ordered are the new designed LED military Trucklites.
Not...
Funny you say that. I just got in from out side.. I have 23.9v on both sides Hi/Lo.. this morning the passenger side is working.... :/ but the light it's self has two leds out and some are dull... Returning lights and seeing if a new set fixes the issue. Atleast ive pulled all the hood grounds...
Ok here we go... I installed led headlights today and they worked fine, then I walked around to the front of the truck and the passenger headlight was barely
putting any light out.... so I said **** my headlight just took a ****! So I wanted to see if it was the light or the truck so I switched...
Take the new nuts off and reinstall the old one until you get factory replacements. The new nuts you have are not locking nuts and will back out! Factory nuts will fight you going on and coming off. This is normal.
Ok I found some threads about buzzing noise and found people say it's their smart boxes..
the one thread I read said the sound went away. I'm guessing mine is the same issue. I went out ten mins ago and I got it to do it again but it was way quieter this time...?
Today I went to start me rig and I turned the key to cycle the glowplugs and I heard a sound coming from my tranny tunnel area, like a electric fuel pump picking up fuel noise for 3 sec and I cant get it to do it again... any ideas?
So my converted box has no instructions... There's positive 24 V and negative 24 V I'm guessing the 24V positive goes
on the main chassis positive in the battery box and the 24v negative goes to the negative grounding bar in the battery box...? As for the positive 12v goes to my new fuse block...
I've got all the parts and I'm just trying to figure out what wires go to what. Also do I need a fuse between the converter box and the fuse block. The 24 V wires go to?. I am in no way electrical inclined! Do I take the negative wire from the 12 V out from the converter and ground it...
