    Glow plug for 6.2

if you have a bench grinder they are easy... I just hit both sides and they fit.... one was a little too fat but I got it pluged in. I put in the AC60g plugs. Some of those back wires looked to be a pain in the butt to get to so I went with the grind method. And are you really going to be...

Lol Maybe my rat nest was a "Pack Rat" nest and it ran around the lot gathering nuts and bolts from other trucks... Or it was part of the sky hook assembly for holding the hood open on windy days. In boyscouts at summer camp I got sent on a mission to all the other troops looking for a squeegy...

    Found...Mystery Bolt???

I did my AC60G swap out yesterday, and while I was all face down in the engine I noticed a loose bolt kind of wedged on my intake manifold held on by my injector lines. Looks like a manifold bolt but I cant find a missing one. I also found another under my manifold while I was cleaning out the...

no clicking with new glow plugs

Thanks, i had an initial freak out because of the smoke. usually smoke is not good...When you just have the key turned to ON...It was the resistors getting used. The smoke smelled like an old furnice coming on at the first of winter. Anyway It seems the GPs stay energised for a good while. I let...

Ok... Well I relized I was right about the risiser block getting hot. I checked all my wires and no shorts. Only 4 wellmans were working before. My truck started. My AC 60G seem like they take longer to heat up. Also seems like my GP relay stays on for 10-15 seconds (im watching my volt meter)...

    Motor let loose this AM!

i have seen hundred of 6.2l engins pulled from humvees from the military swapping out all of the 6.2l for 6.5 turbo diesels. They put the 6.2ls in the shipping crate the 6.5s came in. Piled them high and sold them on gov liquidations. Somebody is sitting on piles of used low mile moters.
