Make sure you have an emergency bag packed with items such as flash light, charged cell phone,contact numbers,snacks,blanket and water. If you have to have repairs or towing, cash will get you a better deal also.
I don't believe I would have had the nerve to do that while inside the tank. I don't like tight places and especially if there is fire close by. What an awesome sight to see though.

I hope so. Right now I'm changing all the fluids and filters. I have a new starter lined up by the end of the month it will run me $360.00 w/o a core. I believe the same shop can get me a generator for a bit more.

I swapped 3000 rounds of ammo and a couple other things for it. The guy had 2 Goats and this one was "for parts" so its missing the starter,generator,batteries and will need a brake job. I spun the engine with a socket and the drive train seems to be complete. I figure about $1200.00 to get it...
I too got pinned under the steering wheel and got a little uneasy as I tried to figure out how to get myself out. I have bad knees and it wasn't helping any. I almost had to call my wife to come down and remove some of my heavy layers of clothing to help in the extradition.
