I would like to have it a little more quiet. For now the hollow muffler will have to do until plowboy gets the muffler build figured out. If it turns out the mufflers are to expensive to ship south of the border, maybe his muffler man would be interested in selling prints on how to do it?

I don't think that would cause your coil to overheat. My manual (for the M135) shows that those are tied into the governor. Both lines come from the carburetor/governor and run around the back of the engine, then hook to the distributor. Possibly cause a vacuum leak?? I'm not sure though.

Welcome to the forum! Looks like a good truck to work with. Will be neat to see what you do with it. I would be interested in buying the rock guards on the top of the front bumper should you decide to sell parts after you get the custom bumper on.

Where did you get a master cylinder rebuild kit from? I am going to try to pull a master cylinder off of my parts truck to see if it can be rebuilt. I was looking at this kit but am not sure it it right...
