My copy of the LO shows dexron II for both the 208 and 205. I expect they might have typod for dex III

Yup, 208 has a pump. 205 does not.

No oil pump. Slinger only.

I believe the answer is the PTO. I Don’t think the NP 208 can accept the PTO. The NP 205 can. PTO was needed to drive the generator in the M1031s.

Good evening all. Back into the fray…. I suspect I am having transfer case to transmission gasket and seal issues. The dipstick on the trans shows full when cold, I removed the fill plug for the transfer case and almost took a cherry juice shower. So, now I am collecting parts to reseal...

Here is the mounting plate in the 34p that shows how it is attached to the dash frame

14072415 is the part number for this item. NSN is 5340-01-164-6524. 14072414 is the metal plate welded to the dash frame that the pictured item bolts to.

34p graphic and listing. No idea where to source one. Mine had been cut out.

Most of the following pictures are self explanatory, but I will comment as I reflect upon them. I took as far down as I am able. Good and green again. I put roll on bedliner on the floor pans before painting. It feels good to be putting things together rather than disassembly.
