It may be semantics, but that's not a factory configuration.
How much for a stock B model Reman? I may be interested and 425hp is more than enough for me.
A B model 3406 with how much HP stock?
I have 3 of them here, none over 425hp.
Turboing the motor to get a little more out of it is much easier than installing an entirely different engine. You can do it with all stock junk yard parts.
The Pete is a 86, but is now a parts donor for another project now. I am going to put a 58 Diamond <T> cab on a 2013 Pete 386 chassis and use the Sleeper, 425 HP Cat and 13 speed from the Pete 379 on the new amalgamation.
Sadly, the 8.3L out of this truck we're talking about will go into...
You're correct, wedges.
I may go with disk brakes in the front. Some of the bigger Ford 4wd's have them. THere's a few threads on Pirate where folks have adapted them to Rockwells.
No, they need to go away (for me anyway). My Pete sits as long or longer and does not lock up.

The M923's brakes always lock up. Like the truck's not moving. Pete always moves.
So, I know what to do to get it moving again...
Anyone swap to a...
So, did you blow it?
The 8.3L I have is being donated... I have a NHC250 kicking around, thought I'd throw it into my M931, since it's losing the smaller motor... I can turbo it pretty easily.
It looks like I could use the outer U-shaped arm from the M923 tri-pod with the MRAP anti-vibration mirror and knock away springs to mount to the windshield frame and have it still flip forward. The bracket I am drawing up will plate the entire side of the frame, tying the top and bottom mounts...
Will do.
I've been playing in autodesk and I think they will fit well on the windshield frame (different base bracket) and have enough swing to get a great rearward view but not get in the way of the door when open.
I can easily make new brackets that are narrow enough for the windshield...
