There was a contact truck CUCV in the A-team movie, mostly static. Have more set pics with Humvees and Deuces if anyone's interested....Back of the line ;
Sounds like the high pressure lines to the injectors still have air in them. Check that fuel shutoff first. If its good, time to bleed the injectors. Make sure the filter is first purged of air. Then I would remove the glow plugs, makes it easier on starter and batteries. Put a piece of...
How much are Antennaclimbers cables? If you don't mind me asking. And where is this "GM has them" at. I searched around and couldn't source an OEM cable. I broke one years ago and replaced it with a used one out of a donor truck. Wouldn't mind having another around as a spare.
Read the TM's, its all in there ; Install nut with the protrusion out, torque to 50 ft lbs per the -20 (spinning the disc while tightening to evenly seat the bearings)... then back off, re-torque to 35 ft/lbs, then back off 3/8 of a turn, until protrusion lines up with the closest hole in the...
It might just be because the engine is actually up to operating temperature. My idle sounds a little higher between just off the cold start circuit and running for 30 minutes where it gets up to full temps.
On mine, it was a filter base leak allowing fuel into system, but not enough to see a fuel leak on ground. Try cracking the fuel cap to release vacuum after you shut down for the day. This will allow a quick start in the morning without putting excessive wear on the starter from all the...
What? How did you misunderstand that. You said the high idle kicked down after 2 minutes. I replied that your sensor is working properly. Therefore it is not needing replacement.
Check that your high idle solenoid isn't stuck on or plunger is binding. When it happened to me, turned out the temperature sensor on the passenger side of engine failed, this leaves the high idle circuit engaged permanently.
I want to buy a CUCV inner fender from Gimpyrobb, who is in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm in Vancouver, BC Canada. The box is 42x24x24 and weighs 25lbs. I usually use USPS as they are the most reasonable, but they say its too big to ship. Fedex wants $234 , DHS wants $174. That doesn't include the...
Ah, the dreaded emissions testing, what a waste of time and money. Here it must be done every year on older vehicles or you cant renew your insurance. On diesels they only test for opacity. This time I got a fail reading, they ran it again which is SOP on a diesel and it passed with a much lower...
Apparently there are two types of starter drive end housings with different bendix openings; small mouthed and large mouthed. The automatic uses the small mouth. Manual transmission requires the large mouth housing. A starter without a nose cone is not logical! There would be nothing to keep it...
My right inner fender is rotted along the top edge where it meets fender. Cant source an OEM here in Canada, so its shipping from the States. Would prefer a CUCV original with all the brackets in place as I no longer have access to welding equipment. Contacted a couple of vendors here, theirs...
