Hi all of you
I am a guest here and I like the forum. As I come from a different country and most of all different culture I have problems to understand you and communicate so please forgive me if I say something wrong.
I think that Deuce owners and lovers have a certain profile and style of...
Thanks guys. I am glad you like my truck. I will try to answer your questions. This truck served the Greek Army and it is almost certain that it was bought new. It was in the same unit with me, twelve years ago when I was serving my time as a soldier. The truck was parked in a shelter and never...
This is my 1951 V17A/MTQ,telephone construction and maintenance truck. I own it for two years but the firt time I saw it was twelve years ago when I was a soldier and it was one of my unit's trucks. It runs and stops fine but it needs restoration. It was used only on paredes and has no miles on it.
I can't answer most of your questions but I have an idea of were you can take the maximum air flow from the air system. You can conect a socket to the emergensy air coupling at the back of the truck. This line has the wider tubes and it is directlly conected to the tanks.
Also I think that an...
I didn't know that early CJ5's had the same length hood like M38 A1. My CJ5 is one of the latest. Sorry if I missleaded you. Anyway this takes us to the begining: Never think that to Jeeps are the same.
Thanks guys! I am glad you like my trucks. As for the V17 pics I hoppe that till Christmas I will be able to post some of them. Also the shop van truck has Dutch plates and it must be higly modified. I see super single tires, a posible V8 engine and perhaps a power steering box. The picture is...
Some cool Deuces and 5ton trucks in Europe. I don't know those people. I just like the trucks.

This is my 1952 M34 which became M35 WW. This is Steyr diesel powered. The A2 exhaust pipe is an add on.

I have pic of a rare truck too. It is my V17A MTQ waitting for a restoration. It doesn't look good but it runs and stops fine it has no major rust and most of all it has no milles. The only problem is that it is a gas OA331 model and a gallon of gas is over 3.5$ here.

There is fire inside the manifold. But the volume of air the engine sucks in while cranked is good enough to burn the injected diesel. We dont need the perfect contitions here. We just want to rise the compresed air tempreture above 650C to ignite the diesel. On a cold start there is to much...
The most important diference of the body is that the frond fenders and hood of cj5 are longer than M38A1, about 2 inches I think. (I will mesure it) The rest part has the same dimentions but the fuel tank is in diferent positions. The sassis has greater diferenses so the engine and power train...
I also have antique plates on my trucks. For less than 20$ a year for the plates and 45$ insurane I can drive limited miles. The other option was a cormersial lisense which outcomes the prise of the Deuce for just a year.
I live in Greece and I have lots of M-series trucks. I sent you a picture of my costom made Reo truck. It is an ex M34, OA-331 petrol engine , single wheels and now powered by a 130Hp 6cyl Steyr(German) diesel engine. It is converted to duals reversing the hubs. The rear rims are changed to...
