I bought one from Midwest Military and found it was just what was needed and expected, looked and functioned like new. IMHO worth the $$$ spent.

Ran great, used for stove, well pump, lights, fridges, freezer, coffee maker, tv. Burned about a gallon of gasoline/hour. Power was out about 26 hrs. but only ran the set a little over 3.
TM-9 8030 says to remove the 2 locking pivot arms & wipers then bend the outer end (tab) of the upper hinge and slide the windshield out of the upper hinge, just like Bill stated.
Work it in and out until it slides freely and can be removed. I have also sprayed some penetrating on the parts...
