Well I have rounded up a few parts on my own, thought I would try here again. I guess I'm going with a civi plate, got it really cheap, and I got a rack for behind the cab and a civi pogo and harness and air lines.
I still need walkplate, the arm the holds the tire in the tire carrier, and...
My truck shows 70K and even though it seems alittle noisey when cold, oil pressure is always around 60 running down the road and 30 any other time, I wouldn't be afraid to jump in mine and go anywhere.
Corey and I have recovered several trucks, if you can get the sucker started and its not leaking anything you'll make it.
Most common issues we've run into is several trucks brakes didn't have fluid, if the power steering don't work that won't stop you from being able to drive it home, I mean...
If thats 2000 lbs I wouldn't want to lift 3000 lbs, it was on the bump stops and I felt like I could have gone to the back of the truck and lifted the rear tires off the ground, seem like very little weigh was on them.
oh yeah, my first lift I wasn't on even ground and the load started to...
Man I don't get it, some guys paid $4000 for a couple of really rough trucks in unknown condition, which will be close to 5k with fees and taxes, and streetbikedepot's truck is twice as good as the best truck that was in that whole lot.
His truck tires look brand new, and I would hop in that...
I don't know what the stock height is, but mine is 10' of 3.5 drill pipe with 10' of 2 7/8 drill pipe inside the larger one. They are extended out almost 6' so I have close to 16' in the air.
I got that massive snatch block from warthog today (what a awesome guy!) and hung that big dude at...
I extended the poles and swapped the cable clamps around that people were freakin out about.. I had two the right way and one the wrong way.. I took the wrong one off, but wouldn't think that would be any stronger.
I extended them out 4' so they are out there 16 now... They are WAY up there...
Am looking for the whole fifth wheel plate, tool box, walk plate spare tire carrier, going to make my m35a2 into a mini tractor 5 ton look alike guess you would say.
I may even go far enough as to do dual tanks.
If you got any of this and are willing to part with it, let me know, otherwise...
Not yet, I forgot when at Tractor supply.
I just wanted to get them up I will fix everything before I use it.
(Streetbike Depot was my fab guy on this, he did all the welds)
yeah I've played the senario over in my a head a few times, doesn' t seem like it would take much.. I thought about putting some recovery point under the bumper with some hooks and see if I could maybe anchor them to keep them from happening.
The darn lead on my winch is soo long, I have just...
Thanks for that info Elwenil, I alternated them for that reason alone, because I wasn't sure which way they went.
I probably won't switch them right away as its a pain to get them up and down, (and with all the melting ice, I'm tearing the crap outta the yard, so I can't get back upto my tree...
