Oh yeah we can't forget Martin, our latino sidekick who led us to the truck. It had been sitting there for almost a year and even though he was at the rear of the truck when it fired to life, (oklahoma winds are constant and strong) its always funny to see the WTF look, as his new look...
Yeah I wanted to try and keep this around, most useful piece of equipment on the planet. (nearly) I've seen many many things past through him, thank god wifes don't have titles or he'd be on his third one.
I've been married almost 18 years now, so lockdown is just another form of normal, now...
Quite the awesome machine (not ours, but in general LOL)
45K rear winch.. BAM...
He forgot to mention it was home to 2 BIG rats and 1 raccoon... the raccoon had to find a new home, we hope the rats soon will too. We could have more goodies in the tool boxes, but we weren't about to stick...
yeah I would have lost that bet that it would have held together, not a smart move, but it made it. I only had 1 trucker slow back down to tell me it was flat. (Front outer dual)
Man there are alot of nice trucks at that site, bunches of 818.
I'm pretty happy with my truck pretty good paint, electric wipers and the cleanest motor I've ever seen.
Runs awesome, but has low oil pressure. Started right up, but my last thing to buy from there, 480 miles is just outside...
Hang in there green_gator, I know how you feel.
Average Joes like myself who love these trucks, but can't get there hands on them because of business running the prices where its harder to afford them.
Thank god they sell enough of them they can't buy them all, I've gotten 2 now at good...
That Streetbike Depot guy is an amsoil dealer too, he gets a bit up tight about brake stuff.
I guess something to do with going round and round on a race track, and needing perfect 1 finger stopping power everytime. who knows.. maybe not enough bran in his diet. LOL
That truck is garbage and I feel badly you paid so much, bring it back and I'll take it off your hands for $3500, just to get it out of your hair. Heck I'd even come get it.
(It was more happy here I can tell)
Not a problem, the wiper on the driver side of my deuce was "manual" anyway. Glad you guys made it home.
I don't know about him but I liked seeing the big green monster sitting out there, but I'm working on the little green monster now.
See what you get for swiping my wiper.. I kid you not I hadn't red this yet, and "someone" forgot to mention it was borrowed... Well I sat in my stupid truck friday for 10 minutes thinking...
Surely someone didn't come over here and swip my wiper, I think one was gone, but where did this one...
I had two hi lifts under the bumper as not to stress the tires or springs, the truck acted like it could have cared less I was impressed. (and alittle worried, I almost put a motorcycle helmet on) LOL
