A similar situation happened to a co worker. GL basically told him to "talk to the hand" and would not reinstate his lot. It was an M105 trailer in fantastic condition, which he won at a great price. This was his first GL adventure, he got fed up, did not pay his account fee, and never did...
OK, gas is listed in the available fuels list, but not recommended compared to diesel. Here's the situation. A department in my home town has a deuce. It's used for official city things. I've seen and heard it running around on occasion, and it sounded normal. Well, apparently it has had...
The tree is suppose to be "New car scent". The store didn't have one called "New deuce scent"... If there was one called "Fresh gear oil stench" that would work too.
Welcome Rabrownmk to the addiction. Glad to see another Hampton Roads MV junkie. If you're looking for a Deuce, mine is for sale. See the attached pictures. If she sells, great. If not, well, it won't break my heart either. She was my first MV, but 1 Deuce, 2 5 tons, and a trailer cost a...
Like 73m819 said. DONT roll forward while in reverse, or roll backward while in neutral or a forward gear. There is a modification to vent the air pressure going to the actuator that would remove this concern. The modification is here somewhere on SS.
Nice looking 813. I love the sound of...
Where did you get the (replica?) guns? I've started research on turning my M813 into a gun truck, and am looking for sources for replica guns. Are those .30 caliber? They look too small for .50 caliber.

I've registered 4 vehicles at the Va DMV from GL, and one from a private seller (BKubu, howdy Bruce!). Only once was there a problem. That problem happened when I gave the DMV the vehicle inspection form. The first two trucks, I volunteerily decided to get a DMV officer to come over and do a...
Howdy ODI. Glad to hear you got the deuce home. You had to wait long enough on the EUC. Sounds like she's an air shift too, since you threw the switch under the dash to move her to the concrete pad.
Be sure to bring her to the next war museum show next sept/oct. There's going to be a LOT...
Howdy Karl. Seeing that you have a 5th wheel on your truck, are you still planning on stopping by and picking up my 5th wheel from the 818-that-was? Talking with Krohto, he said he and you had e-mailed back and forth some and you wanted the 5th wheel and were going to pass thru the area...
When you say a "pickup" bed, are you talking about a normal 3/4 ton truck type bed, or a M35 or M813 cargo bed? A number of people here on SS have put cargo beds on 818s. I stretched my 818's frame and put an 813 dropside on it last year.
You won't be able to mount the 5th wheel in the...
Sorry, I don't have any more pictures of the flood. Spending time behind the wheel, trying to see the road, at night, when it's covered in a couple feet of water, in the driving rain and wind. The deuce in that picture is a city vehicle that took a turn a little too tight and ran into a ditch...
Every time registering a MV at the DMV (Dept of Military Vehicles?), I only give enough info to answer their questions. Seems none of the clerks know the rules since every time each clerk gives different results. I never know what to expect.
Anyhoo, when registering the 814, going thru the...
I don't know what member was selling it, but RAPCO (REPCO?) sells CARC simulated in gallon and spray cans. I bought some 383 green and brown from them for my 814. Matched the original 3 color camo perfectly, but looks "fresher".
