    Door latch mechanism

OK. Before I take everything apart, the manual says to replace the 'screw assembled lockwashers'. Where do I find replacements for these and the spring? I'll need enough to do at least 3 doors, best to do all 4, I reckon. aua

    Memorial Day Parade

I'm not sure if there is a local parade around here, but even if not I plan on firing up the M35A2 and driving around flying the flag [thumbzup] and a POW/MIA windsock I got from Aberdeen. If I find a parade, I may 'crash' it Don't imagine they will mind :driver: All I want to do is show...

M35 windshield wipers Thanks again, y'all. I knew if I asked, somebody would have already been there with the same problems, and have an answer. :D I'll start easy and work my way up from there!

Is there anything out there to tell you how to troubleshoot the motors on a deuce? Mine will work when they want to, despite both getting air. :cookoo:

    Deuce Tips and Tricks

Thanks to all that post here. I just finished a search for door repairs, and found the answers right away!! If it weren't for y'all being there before me, or knowing the answers to my questions when I ask, these trucks of ours wouldn't be in half as good a shape as they are right now...

    M211 into the woods

RE: More pics To hide it til we can do some repairs/get it started. This is the best way to keep it, as I have an M101, M105, M109, M35, pontoon boat, etc already parked on my small lot. The neighbors are deciding whether to try to buy passage after the fall of civilization, or light the...

    Todays motor swap w/pics

yea, they don't do dirt well at all!! Ferro has one like the one y'all used, and we've done the same thing several times. Can't wait to have a paved work area to use!! Having a spare motor lying around also sounds like something to do down the road. WAY down the road at this rate!! :driver:

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

RE: No Offense Taken ferro has a good idea...rig an air line between the towing deuce and the towed using the trailer connection. That should give us brakes, right? [thumbzup]

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

No Offense Taken OK, last I will say on this. I agree that it wasn't the best thing to do, and had definite fatal possibilities which were taken into consideration before and during the move. Only went on the interstate to avoid turning and stopping, which worked well this time. I appreciate...

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

RE: m211 Question for all you naysayers....how fast could I pull the M211 on the interstate using the M35? Same speed- up to 40? I know it would be more equal weight wise. aua

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

maybe, but it made it. Took it slow, and didn't have to stop til I got home. Hard to argue with success, despite stupidity :driver:

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

Forgot to mention, had to get a rollback tow for the M880. Couldn't get the axle straps to connect properly on the bumper, and didn't feel it would have been safe.

    M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!

I wish you could have been there, too!! Coulda used the extra help :jumpin: Anyway, it towed fine. No extra squirrel at all. The extra length gave me the angle to feel safer, and reduce the stress on the less-than-perfect pintle. I would have liked to keep it shorter, but needed the better angle.
