Anyone have a PDF of 9-8031-2
Or 9-8031-5?
Need it for drawings of pinion and also specs for
Bearing preload.
I would rather not pay the CD pirates for one
Just can't locate the info!
Hi Ken,
Get yourself a good step down inverter.
For a stereo go with a marine grade system
There are several manufactures, check boat/marina shops
Near you or surf around.
As far as mounting under dash- not much room.
But , you can use a marine bracket ,similar to a cb radio bracket
Just make...
But on the spring base of the 272 it says
"at272a/prc 25" I would of thought it was
For the radio- is it possible that it's
Marked wrong? Forgot to say previously the
Post diameter of the spring base is much smaller than
The receptacle on the radio
I can take some pictures if needed?
I've seen...
ok guys,
went to place tape antenna(at272b) on radio and found that
the spring base (AT272A) has a different diameter
thread post than the radio. is there an adapter?
so the only way I could put the tape antenna on the radio
was to use the (at892) then tuner box 89799 then the tape.
any ideas...
Thanks T.Highway
What I meant by silly cost- was the 49.00!
I would be much more inclined to spend 20.00
Although if I cant find one for the 20.00 unfortunately
Ill have to pay the crazy cost for the tube.
Is it me or does it seem like -parts you would think would cost an arm and a leg cost...
Guys thanks for the replies.
I plan on adding a pcv valve.
Block still isn't back from machine shop yet.
Everything but the crank is going to be brand new
just need the dimensions from the machinist before I order any parts.
I figured I would go over board also and have everything balanced...
ok
the motor threw a rear main bearing and the rod bearing in the #5 cylinder.
Cylnder walls were lined and seem fine except for some minor pits in #4
sent block out to be bored, crank has been turned valves cleaned etc.
Ill get some pics up of the process before I start to reassemble.
sorry...
ok I went through the tms again (they are in pdf format)
on page...there is no page number on it but in the pdf its 110.
Originally it looked liked gibberish had to zoom to 800%
before it was clear- the diagram shows the power connector
when you zoom to 900% you can read a note about the jumper...
Ya, I went through 2 tms and Im not seeing anything that has to do with that power connector(besides telling you to connect power cable "here") maybe I need a different tm?.
From pictures I've seen on the net, it doesn't really resemble whats supposed to be there?
I think it should be all...
Ok found another issue
radio issue didnt want to start another thread so I figured I would put it here.
I mounted the prc 25 in the 2060a and went to connect the the two
Via 4655 cable and when I removed the cap on the prc I found this
What's wrong here? Am I missing a part?
by the way the...
opcom thanks for the tip on the burns.
I had read that you need to be a min of
20" from it even when transmitting on low
Due to potential radiation burns says in the tm
Is that possible?
As far as the power up- I have it jumping power to a vrc53
set up so I just wanted to make sure all was...
