The gasser and diesel bells are different. One of my friends had a gasser bell and brought it here and we put them side by side and there was a difference where the starter went. They bolt up but the starter clearance is not the same. The diesel bell housings are not hard to find. Plenty of...
I use accurate diesel. Tim is fair and his reputation good. Expect to pay around 3-350$ for a 2829 reman. Anything less, corners are being cut or cheap parts being used. There are alot of crappy builders out there and doing a job twice sucks. I got screwed on a pump from Metro inj. I was pissed...
I plowed with my M1008(and still do, but now with NV4500) for atleast two years with no issues with the Th400. it's a good solid tranny. How long it lasts depends on how you drive it. Beat the balls off it, slam from Drive to Reverse alot and you will kill it fast. Try to push too much snow each...

There are alot of threads on this. Converting to a Flight Systems regulator seems to be the permanent fix although I will admit I am new to these as well.
I was towing an M103a3 back from New Hampshire and was stuck in traffic on I495. Was crawing along for about 20 mins when all of a sudden, the truck died.
I was lucky it was downhill and I was able to coast to the shoulder. After cranking it for a bit, it started and idled but stalled again as...
