Week I got the pump at the auto parts store 50.00 lifetime warranty not bad I guess. Myvaden is there a way from not having to take out the timing cover are they bolted together from the inside out.
Ok so it is a standard water pump for an h1 nothing special about it . I have the 4 groove pulley on mine 3 for the generator and one for the power steering.
My water pump is about to bite the bullet its whining so I know it's a matter of time before it does. Who out there knows where can I get one from does Napa carry these are they the same as the h1. I have a 1994 998a1 with a 6.5 diesel naturally aspirated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kurt my problem is the fan clutch not turning on i let it pass 200 degrees and still no fan but when i disconect the time delay it turns on the fan does that mean my time delay switch is bad maybe it went bad in closed position. Could that be possible.
War horse I'll make sure to keep an eye on the quick disconnect u think it will be smart to change it and get a new one. Also on the the fan clutch not turning on u think it could be the time delay.
Hey Kurt thanks for the intell my fan clutch does have a quick disconnect I will try to retighten the quick disconnect some more and look to see if I have any leaks. My fan also isn't kicking on. But when I disconnect the little square box next to the cadilac valve I think it's the time delay...
