    Winch cable.

    IMHO: If I had to replace any of my winch cables (and I have a few) I would replace them with Amsteel Blue. This is an easier and safer alternative than steel cable. Amsteel will not take the abuse that steel does but for most situations this is not an issue. I would replace the cable with 1/2"...

    Thanks for the info, I will call them today. I am considering a purchase budget of $5000, I feel that I should be able to get a pretty nice starter deuce for that cost. Am I living in a fantasy world?
