after reaching out to a few suppliers who have these tires, quite a few have pointed toward the Baja ta..they stated grooved the tire was fantastic all around including snow...just wanted to share info
Skinny, were the mtr civilian specs or milspec and is their a difference? Leaning towards the mtr. Price right and wear right. Not gonna drive daily in snow however, i want the truck to b ready when i need it! Surely they r better then the swampers i have now on my 16.5s
I have read every thread in regards to 37" humvee tires. I have some 33" swampers and they were less then stellar in the first snow.
Lookin to replace with some goodyear mtr or some bfg baha ta..
Anyone have expierence in the snow? Not talkin alaska snow but 100-150 inches a year in southern...
I have an aux tank in my 1008 that is leaking from the actual fuel cap...it has leaked alot of fuel..it has been parked on a slight incline. Not sure how full it is either as i jus purchased the truck...what gives?
Jus seeps frim cap and runs down bed of truck...

I have searched quite a bit on this topic, however just wanted to hear what you guys had to say. I live in southern West Virginia temperature sometimes in the single digits but not often. Is a block heater really necessary. I will be driving the truck tomorrow morning and it will be in the teens...

I have used the ac delco number that I founder here on the site..regulator looks to be about 90 bux. Oh well if it fixes the problem, its worth it.

Ok...Put my finger over the rubber hose connected to the vacuum pump after removing the tee...their is suction. Not sure how much is good however..When placing my finger over the hole, upon removing I get s slight popping whistle sound..but definitely a noticeable amount...

Ok.so far I have changed the two rubber hoses coming off of the VRV. Both were dry rotted. Problem still not solved. I have traceed the metal hose back to the vacuum module that connects into the tranny. Seems to be fine as well. i replaced the rubber hose that connects the metal hose to...
