David Doyle is right H20. With no air supplied, the front should be engaged, and shouldn't turn backwards. You need to be sure to find the cause and fix that before it damages something costly!!

Man, i'm glad it doesn't snow down here!! I've only been up North in the snow once, and I walked 8' total and fell twice!!!!!

I roller through a stop light once with no brake fluid.......my butt bit a chunk outta' the driver seat!! I was screaming like a raped ape "Look out!!", and blowing the horn the whole time!! Thank god I only hit a "highway 43" sign!!
