I used an heil sub frame lift which raised my bed 6". Looks great with the 15.5s and ill have plenty of clearance with a load. Only downside is my bed sits 9" taller than stock, a little hard to hand load:?
MD, that kinda looks like someone replaced the oak with particle board witch explains the shrooms. I would get that crap outa there asap as it will soon crumble. Replace it with oak or purple heart, yeah, I think every deuce deserves purple heart:D
I dont know what these others are talking about. My deuce is way smoother with the 15.5s, stops on a dime and once I get the fuel turned up will be fine power wise. Plus it makes the deuce look badass! Before I couldnt go over 40 without feeling out of control, now it will go 60...
Deuceman, they grab and float in the mud. I put 15.5xls on miine and there is a 1000% diferrence in the mud. Rear wheel drive is better than stock all wheel. Mine are mounted on 10in rims with no offset and sit flush with the bed (hubs flipped). They do have a bit of "shimmy?" at high speeds but...
