I'm thinking that if I didn't want to take the time to put another engine in it I wouldn't want to spend the time pulling parts off of it to sell. I'd sell it whole.
If you are gonna return it to 24v you probably better figure on buying a wiring harness in your future. Chances are it probably would need it even if it hadn't been changed over.
As far as my gun goes, the paint is too atomized, ie: the spray fan is wide and hard to focus. Usually that is a good thing because I'm typically shooting lacquer and you want it to blend so you need a lot of overlap. If you have a detail gun that would probably work great. I laid out the...
I second the Resilience endorsement. It is not as cheap as the Behr, but cheap paint in my mind is not always a wise option. You will have a hard time trying to "scuff" CARC, and its not necessary. Clean off the dirt and grease and if the paint is tight, go right over it. Unfortunately, SW...
Welcome and sorry about the accident. I'm up in St. Augustine, but there are a number of members down in your area. There is a Florida members map that is being updated with screen names, locations etc. Should pop up if you search for it.
Howdy from just south of you in St. Augustine. Welcome aboard. There are tons of good people and information here. Use the search feature, read the manuals, have a thick skin and you will reap so much benefit from this site.
I have an older mentor who will be 95 in November. When he went in '42 to go to join the war effort he left his Indian with a friend. After glider landing in France, a pack artillery mule outfit in the Italian Alps, and a Studebaker weasel amphibious assault in the Aleutian islands he returned...
I picked up two 353's (stacked one on the other) from MacDill in December and drove them home with a 3/4 ton Dodge to St. Aug. I hope your schedule is flexible, because the GL rep is only at the site like one day every other week. Another guy picked up one with a Jeep cherokee. He had a...
There is some tension on the chain the way I have it locked so it doesn't rattle. While I had the can holder off for painting I put the chain on with a carriage bolt from the can side and peened the nut on so it couldn't be removed. This way the can is secure and the lid can't be removed.
Here's what I did to keep the neighbors happy. Funny thing is, I've had 5 people ask me where my truck is, two of whom are friends who walked down the sidewalk into the house. I've had no problems with complaints and we don't have a HOA. The shot of the jerry can is to show how I have it...
Bazyrkyr, When are you coming to N. Florida to get your 109 and who did you get it from. I'm in St. Augustine, which is just south of Jacksonville. I've had mine since Jan. and love it.
My 109 came with 11.00 x 20 Michelin XL's and the sidewall says to inflate them to max 115 psi. Since I will not be running the truck at neat the max load rating, I thought I would drop them back to 90 psi. I see where others are running them at 75 or even 60 psi. Anybody with long term use...
Scrounge has been my nickname since high school (i'm now 52). My XL's show to inflate to 115 psi and I have 90 in mine. I was wondering what everybody else is running in theirs. I think I'll go start a thread on that one.
I wish I had a playground like that near me. Three of those 5 tons trailers just sold on GL out of Jax. Fl at $2,200 each. Would liked to have one but not at that money.
