Great work, and thanks for the pictures. The crew cab is what sold my wife on one, im still debating a 5ton or a deuce. I'm thinking of attempting this on an XL wheel base, but whatever truck ends up being the right price at the right time is whats going to recieve the care and love of the...
What is interesting about my spitfire of a wife, is that she is not afraid to drive anything, even if it is extremely difficult. Our Duramax is technically her truck, while it is little compared to a deuce and a 5ton, she owns that truck. Just as I imagine what ever she gets behind after we buy...
I was talking to wifey and asked her power steering or no power steering. She said something along the lines of I don't think I could drive a five speed without power steering. It's looking more like a five ton each day. Now an 814 should hold my entire household goods for moving! Look...
This would mean there is a need for on/in the ground parts washers? There has to be an engineer on here somewhere that could make loads off that... Right... We all spend money on the rigs and not the tools. How much does this drum weigh, do I need a gantry or engine hoist to make it comfortable...
Has this thing been retrieved yet? I thought about one as a haul all, but then I realized a traditional flatbed or lowboy would not be able to hook up to it due to the location of the fifth plate. Correct me if I'm wrong but it jut doesn't seem possible, the average kingpin is not that long on...
Thats two votes. Why do say so? Simple the power, or is the ride that much better too? They are both pretty simple machines. 5ton's do seem a bit easier to come by these days. But a solid deuce would probably do the trick as well even if it took a minute to get one.
You guys are not only extremely generous, you're rather hilarious! I am going to have to take a notebook to ensure I get everything straight!
kenm35a2, it is much appreciated and I will probably take any and every offer that arises. I feel as though it is quite the decision to decide between...
This I gathered from reading the entire thread. And I am very appreciative of both the sincerity and joking, as I know that in any emergency, you would be serious as well as entertaining.

Shoot, I think I actually have to agree, I told her I want to put some wyoming soil under her and the bed so that way he will have been born on Wyoming turf, (home state, were military).
Tigger, thanks for this, I'll be sure to inform her as well as keep it in mind.
As well as I am glad you...
She's a little 5'4" gal, I'll leave that one to you! While I am on the move away from the ensuing beat down! jk she has been blessed with a great pregnancy. I look forward to our newest addition!
Something tells me your truck is hard to miss... as well as I wouldn't imagine to many of them...
After reading all 49 pages to ensure I understand the organized joyful chaos that ensues, I really hope to make it down. My wife will be 36ish weeks pregnant and it is her call. We are looking at coming down bright and early on the 11th and leave that evening. We are on the prowl for either a...
My apologies for bringing a thread back from the dead, but I am curious and was unable to find any more on your crew cab 5ton. I just had the thought this morning about doing such and realized there are a few out there. This would be much better for the coming family. Thanks for any response...
Clinto,
Wow, thats a huge event! I've been to toyota get togethers like that and know they are a good time. Although I only made it to page ten, I'd really like to go! Don't know if we'll have a truck by then or not, would really like to have one long before then, but well see.
To all the...
Angus and kev,
Thank you for the welcomes, and well aware of what you have brought up. I prefer to not ask questions, until proper searching here and else where has been done, and then answer those questions asked by others.

Hey all,
I am new to this forum, but not new to forums. Have been using them for about 8 or 9 years now. Wifey and I are looking at buying a M934 to convert into a camper! Already been around a bit on here and look forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge. Served 5 and a half years...
