Hey JohnnyB, I installed my new handles vertical as well, mainly so if they were locked, someone couldn't pull down with all of their weight and break or damage the internals.
Finally got a rain free day today, so I spent most of it destroying drill bits. Broke one 1/2 bit into three pieces. Got skills here, lol. Drilled and bolted on my frame rail inner plates and then the front extensions. Using mostly 5/8" grade 8 bolts. Ran out of drill bits and bolts, so...
I don't know AA, I can't get it to set up once downloaded. I snooped around in my Windows accessories and found Paint, I used that, but so slow that I doubt I'll post many pics from here on out. Something changed somewhere, never needed to do anything other than upload pics to SS.
Didn't have my winch plate yet, so I just used a piece of wood to set the winch on to verify it worked as I wanted. Later got the 1/2 inch plate for the mounting base. Also mocked up a possible water can mounting location.
