    Survival 109 build

Thanks Ray. I have always let the website down size them. I am computer illiterate so I'd most likely screw it up trying to resize. All pics are uploaded from my PC.

    Survival 109 build

Thanks for the info Patracy. I have never needed to resize any of the hundreds of pics that I have uploaded in the past. Still using the same camera and settings. It has always taken some time to upload, normally about 6-8 min. for 10 pics, size unknown. Just did a speed test, am at the peak...

    Survival 109 build

Ok, ANOTHER attempt at uploading, let's see how this goes. Using a different PC. No luck, no upload after over an hour. Ugg.

So I can still access the battery compartment. The door is behind the can carrier.

    Survival 109 build

Ok, back in town, let's see if I can upload the pics to go with this text. Oh well, I give up. Tried to upload 9 pics, no dice. Just uploaded 2, one at a time, took over 10 min. Wouldn't let me upload any more. Done with this. So I guess this is the end of this thread, as pics are really...

    Uploading pics problem

Currently out of state, will try again when I return. Never needed to do that before with the hundreds of pics I've uploaded.

    Survival 109 build

Oh well, guess no pics then. Or posts, as picless posts are useless as the saying goes.

    Website slow loading?

Same PC as I always use, nothing changed "that I know of". But that doesn't mean much with my basic lack of computer knowledge.

    Survival 109 build

    Survival 109 build

Little late posting but here is some of the tinkering from this past weekend. Finally put hinges on my passenger step water can carrier, so I can quickly access the battery door. Used a pin and clip to hold it in the upright position. Have seen some stock units done this way. Purchased a...

    Survival 109 build

Yes OD, that is in the distant future. And the cab roof equipment will be relocated on top. But the cab over is a major project and not as important or useful as the enclosed rear deck. So it will be later than sooner.

    Survival 109 build

Nothing special AA, just trying to build on a tight budget and still be reliable.

Yes, my inverter was drawing too much when at idle, nearly 27 amps. Bought a different one, haven't tested it yet. A really good efficient one costs too much. ( thousands)

    Survival 109 build

Couple more projects this weekend. Finally got my cab roof solar panels installed for charging the starting batteries. Have a small 24 volt solar charge controller on the RR cab wall for them. Full output os about 5.5 amps, less with clouds, shade etc. Picked up a couple of fire...

Ok, long time no workie on truck. Had a lot of other things to do after the Georgia Rally trip. Trip was great, still haven't gotten over it. Everything worked well in the truck. Quite happy with the outcome. So have started on a few projects now, here is my folding left IR lamp assembly...
