Will be using Ospho rust treatment on the solid rusty metal, replacing the rotted out metal, insulating it then using plywood.

Was a lot of work. Tongue & groove 1+ inch oak boards. Very dense wood. Carriage bolts through the crossmembers under the sheet metal sub floor. Wood was directly on the rust, er, metal subfloor.

Today pulled all of the wood flooring up. Expected a lot of rust, wasn't disappointed. Heavy rust and many holes in the back as well as heavy rust in the front. Center between the wheel wells was the best condition. Still have about half of the bolts to remove. Then I will Ospho treat the...

Despite some health issues was able to get some work done on the truck this weekend. Saturday pulled out most all of the interior, at least what was in the way of removing the wood floor. Will be working on the steel wheel wells after the main floor is removed and repaired.

No, it's gone. Too much controversy. I'm not on here to start problems or get into arguments. Just to learn and post what I've done.

Thanks Tim. Truck already had the flag mount on the LF bumper end. Not looking to cut it off and relocate it. If is really an issue, won't have the flag any more. But I like having it flying at events.

Truck is loaded, fridge is stocked, bed is made and a quickie screen door is up! Will be on my way tomorrow afternoon, ETA approx. 3pm. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

Thanks. Was a long day, but no rain! It's just a chain, piece of PVC pipe and two spring clamps clipped onto eyebolts on the door and the body.
