Just put em on, no flippin a 5 ton hubs, as for the wider track in front it would give a better turn radius and U will need it because I hear the turn radius is even alot worse with the 1600s, and they rub, and like said, these are no race trucks , a power drain is just not good to me, all up...
Tow-barred my M 38 for a few thousand miles, like the military that has done it for maybe a million or so over the years in its service, I never unhooked anything, just all in neutral . The few million in service tow bar miles never had the hubs locked out. :)

They are a little taller, but I did it for years, 1100 ndts in front 900 duels in rear, i had an air shift, so I would be in softer ground when in 6 by so the size would never matter, I also did it with my first sprag deuce, for a year or almost 2, never had a problem with that one either,my...
Just wondering, if it rode nice with duels, why in the heck would caster/toe anything front end ??? be a problem ??? , im crazy but maybe a bent 5 ton rim ? rre read post, its the way they are on the truck flip the hubs or duel em , your problems will go away i would bet, the narrow steering...

Yes u are supposed to drain em down, since 1950 this has been working Im sure others have better ways, But for me when something works that long, it works... :)
