I was looking at a guy up near Dallas for a while, he had a bunch of half built ones and old brush trucks etc. He just wanted way too much for them and he never really gave me the time of day if I had any questions.

That’s how I found this one, I found one seller for mounts but nothing about mounting the standard mount to the mud flap hangers. I have seen pictures of it, I know people have done it just not how.
I have seen a few fabed ones and a few manufactured ones (like you are talking about). Trouble is how much is going to hang down and be in the wife’s face, all be it she is short (5'3"). The over the windshield option seems best but that is going to be a lot of fab work.
