There are lots of brands that can work.
Since it has a John Deere engine in it, your local agriculture or construction dealership should have the appropriate fluids. No idea what they'll charge you though.
Are you using the 802 in 240V or 120V mode? If you're going the 120V-only route, that might explain why the electrician guided you towards a 50A receptacle.
Civilian generator trailer (empty) from WI to SD-ish
I'm looking for someone to pick up a civilian generator trailer (MGT1E) in Germantown, WI and bring it to (or towards) Sioux Falls, SD.
It's got a single axle, electric brakes, lunette ring, and currently an empty bare frame. Overall...
If any of the burners were on, but not set to high, they would be cycling on/off attempting to maintain their temperature setting. That would cause the load to vary and the ammeter to jump around.
Some of the reset 803's have engines with Lister Petter plates on them. Can someone post a picture of an engine's data plate? Maybe that will have the build number on it somewhere.
Here are a couple fuel filter heads that might work:
Donaldson P560382 - has 1/4 NPT inlet & outlet
Donaldson P562263 - has 1/2-20 UN inlet & outlet (works with o-ring boss)
Both of those heads have M16x1.5 threads for the stock primary fuel filter.
I've used these heads on my auxiliary fuel...
Two years ago, I got a good deal on an 803 that did some time in the sand. After I got it home I changed all of the fluids & filters, added fresh fuel and a pair of batteries, replaced the dead primary fuel pump, and spent some time cleaning the sand out of the switches on the control panel...
I'm a visual learner. Hopefully this will help someone else.
The 4 positions on the blue arc are for 3-phase.
The 2 positions on the red arc are for 1-phase.
Assuming you have the voltage adjusted properly:
When the switch is on any of the positions with the yellow dots, the voltage should...
They will also fit in the bed of a 1/2 ton crew cab chevy.
In a pinch, you can move them on a flat surface fairly easily with a roller (3 or 4 foot long piece of steel pipe or wooden dowel rod) and a 3 foot pry bar. Use the pry bar to lift up under each skid just enough to get the "roller"...
I haven't tried this personally, but it ought to work for an 802 or 803:
The Zerostart Engine Heater 3100077 for Lister-Petter LPW Series (1994 & newer 56 CID 2 cyl., 85 CID 3 cyl., 113 CID 4 cyl.). This model is to be installed between cylinders. Point element UP or DOWN.

I've had good luck with a rubber strap wrench. Occasionally, for something really stubborn or soft, I'll use a pair of them offset 180°.
The ones I have are similar to this:

Reset kit in a box?
Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I was looking at this on a recent GP auction. It went dirt cheap, probably because it was in Guam. I couldn't get a shipping quote in time and I didn't want to risk spending big bucks shipping home a cheap win, so I passed...
Looks like Banks is making the engines for the JLTV, the replacement for the HMMWV. Possibly based on a Duramax block.

The auxiliary fuel fitting on the generator is a -5AN fitting. You can also use a 5/16" JIC fitting since they are compatible.
I'd use a 5/16" fuel line personally, but 1/4" or 3/8" would probably work ok.
