I want to assemble a fuse repair kit to keep in the truck with spare fusible links. Does anybody know the location in the TMs of a list of the fusible links and their size?
Yes I have searched until my eyes are crossed (or more crossed than they were). Thanks in advance for replies.
OK I got the new JB Fabrications cable shifter temporarily installed to make sure everything worked the way I wanted it to. I fabricated a temporary wooden platform and attached it to the NP241 so that the shifter handle is positioned in the approximate location that it will be after the P400...
That is going to be nice. Good design.
I am doing something similar but different - if that makes sense. I have designed and fabricated a dash-mounted gauge cluster pod which will mount under the dash pad between the radio delete plate and dash door. This will completely cover the ashtray...
John I get all that kind of stuff from McMaster Carr. Google them and they will pop right up.

Thanks Karl for your post. My feelings exactly.
And thanks everybody for your opinions. My new engine will not be turbo’ed and I can assure everyone that it will never break a sweat. Probably will never see mud and will only leave the pavement occasionally. So I will stick with Rotella T4 15-40.
I am fast approaching a point in time when I will need to install new motor oil in my GEP P400 engine. I have read the arguments pro and con until my Walmart readers fogged up. So I thought I would start this thread to ask for expert opinions.
My P400 long block arrived from GEP in a crate...
Made a little more progress today. Got the GM14020856 brace rod installed between the NP241 and the P400 engine block. Also installed the bracket for the new transfer case cable shifter from JB Custom Fabrication...
