That’s an ac output. Used for driving a tach. Disconnect the wire. If you have ac on your dc power to your radio that would cause noise. I would check all of the grounds at alternator, batteries and frame to cab. That’s behind the grill on the passenger side.

The 3126 a1 power boards can develop bad solder joints. The earlier ones used eco friendly lower lead content solder that does not appear to last as long as regular 60/40. Its a multi layer board so you have to be careful if resoldering it.

Alot of them were sold off a few years ago in crates. Most of them had some use on them. 1500 is a great price on a running one.
