RRAD is hit/miss.
In my truck, the passenger seat cushion was replaced and like brand new while the driver's seat was torn to #%(&.
They replaced all the rubber under the hood, even leaving the parts tag on some of them, but then kept the old ether fuel pressure sensor (which was leaking)...
^^^ ALL of this.. basically stole my post..
Diesel engines are stupid simple. They require 3 things.
Air.
Fuel.
Compression (heat).
Find out which one you're not getting, and you solve your problem.
Being this is an M939 series, you have to worry about the pickup tube and the now...
The opening is offset. It's not centered. I learned that the hard way when installing lights into the bumper.
So, when it's flipped upside down, the offsets are on the opposite side.
If you've never paid attention to the front bumper, you might have missed it.
I would be concerned that if there's enough torsional flex, the side walls would actually come in contact and either prevent movement, or bend/break.
It looks like a good idea, though, and to be honest I'd love the CAD file to run to a shop to see if they could cut it. :D

Multiple things. Think of layers of defense. Keep people out, keep truck there if people get in.
1. I use a piece of angle iron welded to door and cab that cross the gap that can be padlocked. Kinda like the puck locks you see on work vans that go on the doors, but not. Hard to see in the below...
I personally have been advised of a situation where a GP EMPLOYEE was taking specific pictures of trucks (mostly LMTVs), then intentionally leaving out things like the push button drive selector, alternator, etc. from the pics and TAKING the parts off the truck, so when someone went to pick up...
I'm pretty convinced they're shill bidding.
When they were bought/merged with Ritchie Bros. OVERNIGHT, prices went through the roof, and the trucks that went for ridiculous prices were seen at auction again a month later.... some I saw cycle through 3 or 4 times before finally 'selling'.
So, 2...
That micro antenna you have has negative gain, and if it's NOT made by a well known brand like Maxrad, Antennex, Comtelco, etc then it's probably even worse, and doing damage to your radio.
Higher gain = lower angle of radiation. That box blocks most of the signal behind you.
A 1/4 wave...
Thank YOU for the link.
It's supposed to work for the 939 as well. I snagged the last one. Worst case scenario is I'm out $16.. and I can give it to a local member with an LMTV
Just another reason to dislike 'surplus' sellers. Spray paint something tan or green and charge $100 for it...
Hope you're not going anywhere near portland. That'll have a hole drilled in it drained by some tweaker who 'needs' 3 gallons and leaves the other 97 gallons to drain onto the ground.
