    Aftermarket CTIS covers for FMTVs

Did he ever share the supplier? A TON of people asked him about them but all I ever saw returned was "PM sent"....

    Aftermarket CTIS covers for FMTVs

Yep. They're funny like that. Searching FB from external sources has always be a bit dodgy.

Neil has a video of the process:

    A1R Rear Cab Bushing Assembly

Since my bushings took a hike (literally disintegrated) I'm not sure of the order of assembly. A1R so no TM.... I'm thinking this is correct but still playing with the puzzle pieces? *the cracked/old bnushing in the upper position was originally inverted, though Anyone with an A1R know?

    Cab Latch Rebuild

Since my rear cab bushings (A1R truck) literally fell out in chunks last week, I'm tossing in some hokey pucks until proper bushing solution arrives. I've had a slight hydraulic fluid leak at the latch and have the o-ring kit to do the rebuild. I thought I had bookmarked a video on the...

I had to look. I needed to raise the cab today anyway. LOL Mine is black

    Aftermarket CTIS covers for FMTVs

The guy literally spammed the LMTV groups with those images (here's just two of the LMTV groupsd I'm in over there, I didn't look in the others I belong to). And when you ask for any detail, he says "PM sent" (but I don't use Messenger and my only FB account is a friendless marketing account...

LMTV/FMTV Dump trucks - worth it?

Seems like it was a operator warning to "never fill the bed more that 50% of capacity" or "never raise the bed more than 50% of potential" (something like that) due to a design flaw. I honestly don't recall but I remember thinking to myself that if I ever needed a dump truck to sure as hell not...

!CLOSED! Cab Mount Group Buy. NEW OEM FMTV LMTV M1078, M1079, etc

Rgr all.. Yeah, just hook me up with a complete set for the A1R (not the "3" that I posted).

!CLOSED! Cab Mount Group Buy. NEW OEM FMTV LMTV M1078, M1079, etc

OK, then my "3" is incorrect. I need three upper/three lower (ie: three pairs, not enough for three trucks). If I have to buy two "sets" to get the three pairs, that's fine...

!CLOSED! Cab Mount Group Buy. NEW OEM FMTV LMTV M1078, M1079, etc

Looking at the list, I see a lot of "1's" It makes me wonder if people confused pairs/sets with complete truck "sets". Seems like a lot of people only replacing one bushing pair.....

LMTV/FMTV Dump trucks - worth it?

Wasn't there some design flaw with the LMTV dump truck? I distinctly recall something about extreme limitations on something like load and dump angle.

    A0, A1, A1R and TM's

The dash on a C7 truck is unique. The engine itself will have the ACERT badge written across the top of the engine. Got any pics?

    A0, A1, A1R and TM's

I gave up hope. As General said theA1R is essentially the P2 w/o the armored cab and thus civilian taboo.

    A0, A1, A1R and TM's

Heh, S&S/BAE made all sorts of Franken-trucks (mostly all A1s). I've seen A1's with C7s that were clearly not A1R trucks. I suspect at some point they just said "use the parts we have available and make a truck). ;)
  16. Third From Texas

    A0, A1, A1R and TM's

No, I just got the one book. I have electronic copy of the A0 versions (TM-10 and -20, etc)) as well (it includes the changes thru 2005 even though the cover page does not indicate so). Of course, I have an A1R so everything I have leaves me in the dark. LOL
  17. Third From Texas

    A0, A1, A1R and TM's

TMs are a vast mystery to all but a few. The A0 (June 1998 ) TM's were simply amended to add info for the A1 modifications (2005). The updated versions are difficult to find because they technically have the same numbers as the predecessors. I've never made heads nor tails of it, myself...

!CLOSED! Cab Mount Group Buy. NEW OEM FMTV LMTV M1078, M1079, etc

Note: it takes two pair per A0/A1 truck, and four pairs (actually 3.5) for an A1R

Class E in GA still a viable option?

The issue there is potential lost tax income. That's the only loophole they could potentially close. People register million-dollar RVs out of state to ditch state/local sale taxes and that adds up enough to pop up on radar (especially in "tax rape" states where they pile on the extra taxes...
