He is reluctant to sell parts, specifically tailgates, blackout lights, brake drums. I have seen him sell deuce parts e.g.axles, fuel tanks, window parts.
Some are, some not. Depends on where the truck was acquired from. I got one with good solid floors and rockers but I looked at quite a few also.

My newest task is to gather M715 bits & pieces that are scattered over 7 acres then see how many that I can make whole. I would guess there are pieces of maybe 35 or 40 vehicles, so maybe I can build 20....we'll see.
Removed the cab. I've seen the use of a big crane to do this, but the cab only needs to be lifted a couple of inches then can be moved straight forward and off. With the "floating" crossmember still attached the cab sits flat on a pallet. Some lag bolts secur it there.
Added some parts, deleted some parts. It no longer has the Dr Doolittle Push me Pull you look to it.

I have been researching the '715 for two years now. So I have a good feel for what could be improved ; this is the wish list I compiled from M715 owners:
The Tornado engine is interesting....but a diesel would be the cat's meow, CAT 3116
The D60 front is obsolete and has D44-like knuckles...
Upside down, but does not rotate the opposite way? Ring gear not on the other side? The new axle lengths I need will be 51.375" & 40.750 ". The intermediates are 49" & 44 ".
