Yes, from what Brian told me AMG built different variants of transmissions, engines, winches, tires, brakes, and other parts for the Army. Essentially every one of them was a 'one of a kind'.

I'll mhave to get a picture of Brian's truck, it is serial number 4, probably from the same series, but supposedly never belonged to Uncle as it has "AM GENERAL" on the front bumper.

I have the valves on one of my trucks. At shutdown I drain the tanks till there is no more mist coming out and stop. It has never been more than 10-15 seconds, and that was after a long trip in the rain. Trips under 100 miles in good weather drain out in about five seconds. YMMV.

They both sounded pretty normal to me. Might have been a little valve tapping in the first one. Can you get some sounds from inside the cab while doing the same thing?
