Can you post a picture of the data plate, or give us the National Stock Number of the unit. Either or both will go a long way to the right set of eyes.
What gauge wire are you using between the generator and the load, and what is the length of that wire? To properly load the wire you should probably be running #8 for a distance of less than 100 feet and #6 if the distance is up to 200 feet. Personally, I used #6 to run 40 feet from my panel...
There is a pipe that runs from the water pump to the oil cooler that has a couple of rubber 'connectors' on it, the rear one is right about half way back on the engine. If it's leaking, you will probably need to replace both connectors. If that is what the problem is, you will need eight...
DUKW tires have a higher ply than the Goat tires, but originally were made to be deflated to 15 psi for going over sand beaches, then pumped up from the cab back to 50 psi for highway use. I have no idea what the specs are for the Coker tires
All the Cali independent truckers need to become LLC's in Nevada or Arizona (shift truck registration), then they can legitimately claim interference with interstate commerce, which the courts should recognize as an overriding circumstance.
I ordered longer upright pieces (fiberglass type) from Stephan Wood Products 5 or 6 years ago. Gave them the length I wanted and they cut them to length. I wanted the bows to be high enough to cover an S-280 shelter and to be able to put part of an old cargo parachute over the top as a sun shield.
How much different are they from the 465 pistons? The 427 was pulled early in the life cycle of the M-35 series deuce and replaced with the 465. Small numbers made means even fewer have survived 60+ years of non use. You might wind up replacing the whole engine with a 465.
Ask them to pull up 'competitive paints', if they can have them scroll down several (maybe 5 or 6) pages to look for "FSS", if it's there, select it and it should bring up a screen with two fields in it. The second field is the 'number', like 24087, which is a semi gloss green shade. There is...
You may need to look at some of the other radio configuration technical manuals for that series. Oftentimes the 'base' configuration would have the wiring layout for the various vehicles and the main differences would be the length of the cables from the radio to the antenna mount. When it...
Problem with the custom color match is that you need to have the exact same 'base' mix to get the same color at a different store. When you have the Federal Supply Standard (FSS) paint code number where the first digit stand for the finish (1-glossy, 2-semi-gloss, 3-flat), the second is base...
They may be for the 105 trailers. I know the generator trailers that had MEP-002's and -003's had all metal bows on them. I still have one of them - with two MEP-003A's on it.
I've used that combination in the cargo bed of my deuce. The Behr has flaked off a bit, but the Rustoleum seems to be holding it's own. Still 90+ percent green. YMMV.
