My button under the steer wheel does work and when you have the PTO engaged you can press that to release the brakes to use the rear winch to pull you're shelf out I guess.
I had the same problem on my M936 and it turned out to be the valve on the top of the transfer case. The valve is the one that keeps the shifter in place and when you push the button on the shifter it releases so you can shift the transfer case.

I understand your pain. When we pickup my M936 with the 11x20's we could only get 65psi in the tires and on the way home I hit a bad spot in the road with a lot of ruts in it. It was not fun driving it for about 4 sec. The truck started rocking back and forth. Now I run 90psi all round.
