Just like anything else with a one piece rear main seal.
Pull the trans, clutch and flywheel, remove the rear main, install the new.
Flywheel is heavy, you won't enjoy that part.
The flywheel bolt pattern is assymeterical, so mark the flywheel and crank. You'll thank me later.

Assuming the sending unit in the 939 works like everything else, you need 24V at the gauge to energize it, but the sending unit functionality is measured in ohms. The TM will show the "range" of ohms for the gauge. Some vehicles are 0 ohms empty and 90 ohms full, so you can deduce 45 is 1/2...
The strange loop on the dash is the military's anti-theft system. A chain through it around the shifter. I can't remember if MD shifters are close enough to the dash for the padlock to go directly around the shifter.

Who makes the "best" patch panels for the MB/GPW?
The musclecar hobby is different-for the most part, the quarter panels you get from YearOne are the same ones you'd get from National Parts Depot or Sherman or anybody else.
The Jeep hobby is only somewhat like that-obviously a lot of vendors...
e-brake assy? Like the entire setup, with drum and bellcrank and all?
We have new GI parking brake shoe sets (inners and outers) but none of the other stuff.
First, I'd load test the battery and see what it says. If it's low, then trickle charge it until it's fully charged.
Then load test it again. Should hold a load for 10 seconds without falling below the threshold.
If all that's good, then I'd make sure the battery connections are all clean...
