Blown Head Gasket Recovery (no longer) - Massive Engine Failure (!)

Dang this entire thing makes me sad!! Got a new motor and it exploded. I have no idea why it did that...I'd think if you had a fuel issue the egt would have gone up a bunch, they react fast too. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

Can I switch out flat wiper arms for Jhook arms on 1986 m1009

Yup!! Dorman makes a set that I've put on 4 so far. Fit good plus has the hook. I put 2 19 inch wiper blades on too. Amazon says they don't fit but they do. No more blades falling off! Wiper arms are 25 each and the blades 15 a pair. Good paint in them too. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    Project Wild Weasel M1009

That's not od green canvass!! That's the table we used to paint the hood on..got sprayed too. The honda is a 5 gallon per minute 5k psi pump...I think the honda has a 3 gallon tank. That is a switch for a cucv too...took it out of the cab out back. That pump setup weighs just at 140 lbs. It's a...

    Project Wild Weasel M1009

I'll go pressure wash someone's stuff before I loan one out again! What most people don't know is if you leave the engine running without using the water it gets very hot then burns up the pump or the release valve will pop...this is a 13 horse honda with a 5k 5 gallon with a burned up pump...

    Windshield rubber m1031

Well...no we didn't///ugh I Know we probably should have...it's outside with no wind plus I am using a HVLP gun that has 17 lbs of pressure so really no mist at all even with max paint on a 1.8 gun. In my younger years with the guns that ran a lot more pressure I wore everything. Yeah it was...

    Windshield rubber m1031

It's an Alkyd based...we did it outside in the morning with the nice wet grass and no bugs!! I thinned it a touch with acetone but that was it. It did take a while to dry for sure but that's ok. Was barely 60 out maybe 70 tops and low humidity. The paint was dated from 2001! It really did mix...

MEP-803A Batteries & Long Term Use

One thing I would look at is what type of charger maintainer you get. Some like the NOCO work well with the lead acid as they do have a desulfate in the low charge maintain setup. If you have the lead acid it probably wouldn't hurt to check acid level as well. Brand isn't a very big deal with...

    Windshield rubber m1031

I poured 2 cans in a 5 gallon bucket and mixed them up in that. Needed a plastic scraper to get it out of the can. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

CUCV Heaven, My build of a 1009 and 1008

Ok so the day has finally come after over a year of my son working on his second blazer. It's on the road! Had a glitch with the power steering pump going out after 5 miles but other than that it's all painted up nice. I replaced all the light sockets with new ones and put new lenses on the...
