Gravity feed the fuel pump to see if it is working properly.
If it is, you should be able to bleed the air at the fuel filter and the truck should run. This means you have no fuel getting to the lift pump.
If you can not get fuel out of the filter, your lift pump is bad.

Unfortunately all of the GP cards with the additional heat option have been sold. It was a limited production run and most likely will not be offered again.

I had a M1009 that had a similar issue. I finally found the drain plug on the bottom of the fuel filter base was not completely tight.
After tightening it the stalling issue never happened again.
Here is the resistance chart for the glow plug sensor. Measure it without the wires connected.
The high idle sensor is a switch, it is either open or closed.

You may want to consider this modification to the firewall mounted 24 volt bus bar to get a good 12 volt connection point. It's not hard to do and is reversible.

The wait light should always have +12 volts on it from the fuse box, the ground for the light comes from the GP controller to turn the light on and off.
Check the dark Blue wire that comes out of the GP card connector to see if it has rubbed thru anywhere and is now connecting to ground.

A good set of tire chains is hard to beat. There are all different types for various conditions.
Mud, Ice Snow etc. Driving skill and knowing your limitations are critical in conditions like this.
