I was going to do what ronmar did, I even bought all the parts to do it but my dilemma is that my CTIS is working properly and the CTIS controller does a great job at always checking the pressure and adjusting when necessary. My only reason was so I could get higher pressures but this way I...
Thanks for the info. I just ordered the pressure sensor and I ordered a 3 circuit / 3 pole toggle switch from McMaster Carr part# 7343K861 and a 1/8" Tee so I can hook both sensors up and switch between the high and low sensors.
Great solution! Even though my system is working after replacing the ECU 2 years ago. As I start my camper build knowing I need heigher tire pressure to support the added weight I will be converting my old ECU to this method.
Thanks for figuring it out.
I used Light Duty Blended EPDM foam sheets from McMaster-Carr
1/8” 8647K41
1/4” 8647K43
I made them 2 years ago and still nice and pliable, the thinner ones I actually cut on my wife’s Cricket....
8: Remove the 10 bolts holding the hub to the steering knuckle. I had to get creative using different wrenches for loosening and removing the bolts because of the limited space, 1/2" breaker bar, 1/2" drive ratchet and 3/8" ratchet.
9: With help!!! pull the hub out and move air brake parts out...
That is how I did my front axel gear swap. But not by removing the knuckle. But by removing the 10 bolts that hold the hub onto the steering knuckle. It does take two people though they are just so heavy.
Step 1: after the tires are off the brake drums don’t want to come off and I wasted a lot...
I can’t believe no one in Florida wants the set of seats! I can possibly meet you in the middle if that helps out. I hate to see them collect dust in the corner of the garage.
They are ford f150 take outs of the front center seat. If I remember correctly its a few years around 2010-2015???. I'm guessing from fleet trucks and they remove them and install arm rest or something. Then I found some good quality seat covers from seat covers unlimited the tailor made ones.
My family is growing up and I'm getting rid of my center jump seats. If any one is interested near me in Wauchula FL. I don't care to try and ship them.
Comes with the floor mount which uses the factory holes so its a straight forward bolt in. Send me a PM, email keith@innovativemachineworx.com...
I own a 2003 M1078A1, so I understand your troubles. I had to chase about 10-12 different electrical problems. A few of those prevented it from starting. My point is don’t get stuck thinking it had to do with the 3x4, something else could have suddenly started to cause it. For instance I found a...
I ordered some from McMaster Carr, if memory serves me right they were just 1” black plastic hole plugs.
They came in a pack of 50 or 100, if you were close enough I’d give you some....I have more than I’ll ever us left over.
My experience here in Florida with tinted windows and in the middle of the day, it does ok. It does not make it so cold you have to turn it down ...if that helps.
My cruise works perfectly and make long distance travel a pleasure. Along with the hi speed gears, AC, and tinted widows.
My cost because I do all the research and work is minimal. ECM pins $19, ECM diagram and pin locations free with lots of research, wire from ECM to dash shielded 18 gauge 6...
I just did this on my CAT 3126 last year and I did wire it up to a brake light switch.
If the ECM has a brake input I never came across it doing all of my research and it would Not turn off the cruise when I hit the brakes prior to hooking up to the brake light switch. Also here is a ”Warning”...
About a year ago a new armored M1089 wrecker was for sale on eBay. The story was that it was built for Spain’s military but when their government bankrupt they couldn’t pay for it and it ended up on eBay. I saw the price around $75,000.00
