I agree with Rusty on this. Theory is a good place to start, but bigger pipes have less turbulence and less internal pressure so the engine does not have as much work to do pushing the exhaust air out. Less effort expended on the exhaust, more effort that can be applied to other things. What...

Three phase is not as hard on starting amps. It says you need 10.2 amps per phase, the generator in three phase configuration will put out 17.3 per phase. So that leaves you 7.1 amps per phase for the starting load. Generator should be able to handle that, esp since it is three phase.

They work! You can program them as easily as the higher end models. With a mag mount antenna, I sound as good as a base station when transmitting and have no trouble hitting all the area repeaters (within 25 miles or so) Lima Charlie. I have three of them, with most of the accessories...
