    Auxillary electric fan possible?

After driving the LMTV's for a while and noticing how annoying the fan on-off cycle rate is on these trucks, has anyone thought of the possibility of installing an electric fan on the radiator? Not a replacement for the stock one but an electric one that runs constantly to keep air moving...

I got Wall-E the LMTV painted

I sprayed the underside Wednesday, outside Green Friday and the Black and Brown yesterday. It came out very well and many thanks to TruckGuy(Keith) for the assistance with the camo patterns. I plan to have it in our yearly Christmas parade next Sunday for our church group. I used 4 gallons of...

I installed keyless door locks on the 932

After wanting to try this for some time, I finally got it accomplished this weekend. I contemplated installing it several ways but this seemed to work just fine and wasn't too much trouble. I ordered a 4 door central lock kit remote control conversion from Amazon and 2 barrel bolt locks. Around...

    I moved my toolbox

After putting the short bed on the 932A2, I really missed the toolbox that was originally mounted on the passenger end of the tire carrier. So I came up with the idea to " hide " it inside the bed. I was originally just going to mount it centered below the headache rack but came up with a better...

    Mudflap rubber

Any cheap recommendations for cheap replacement rubber on my 939 series mudflaps? I thought I'd look for a conveyor belt manufacturer as a start. I have 2 that are chewed up and warped.

    932A2 short bed install

After a couple of weeks of thinking and planning and a few hours of actual " work ", I finally got the bed installed on the tractor. I am well pleased with the results and believe that the effort was well worth it. We cut 3 feet out of the center of the bed and sides so I will be able to modify...

    939 series Turn Signal Buzzer

Has anyone here installed a turn signal buzzer/beeper on their 939 series? If so do you know the wire number to tap in to? I bought a couple of 24 volt beepers on Ebay for around $5 and want to install them in series with the flashing bulb in the turn signal assembly. Before you say " Just get...

    Won a 932A2 yesterday

Adding to the fleet. Kind of had the desire for a shortened version of my 923A2 so I bid on this 932A2 and plan on installing a shortened 923 bed. Heading down to Georgia next week to pick it up. The wife says the 923A2 is hers now; I get the little one! Any input or suggestions will be greatly...

    Air Brake Protection Valve leaking/venting

The wife was driving Shrek this weekend with yours truly riding shotgun (a normal scenario). We noticed that the air was bleeding down pretty fast at long traffic lights as the brakes were held, so I had a look when we got home. I found that air was venting pretty heavily out of the front...

    Winch Controls

I have read on here that there is a difference between the A0/A1 and A2 winch controls. Can someone tell me or show me the difference? I bought one and don't know if mine is for an A2 which is what I need.

    Now that's a filter!

I was messing around with the 1079 today trying to learn some new things and decided to see what kind of shape the air filter was in. I started pulling it out and it kept coming, and coming and coming. Good grief what a filter! Thank God it was new.

    LMTV relays and fan assy

Anyone have a good part number and source for the 24 volt SPDT relays? I'm not having any luck finding them. I also need a takeoff fan and fan support plate if available.

    ABS ECU valve body

Does anyone know if the ABS ECU valve body can be serviced? I noticed mine leaking air out of the bottom port the other day when I walked past the rear of the truck after shutdown. I hope I can take it apart and find a seal/o ring leaking. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

16:00 tires with CTIS on an A2

I tried searching with no luck; maybe I didn't use the right words. I was wondering if anyone has swapped out the 14:00 tires/wheels on an A2 939 series truck with 16:00 tires/wheels and kept the CTIS working? I saw a few pictures of a 7 ton MTVR truck today and the question crossed my mind.

    M923A2: What is this thing?

It lives right under the dash on the passenger side. Is this some sort of filter/water trap? It has 1/8 NPT male threads on the bottom with a hole in it. And it's leaking a noticeable amount of air on my truck. Not enough to affect pressure when running, but I hear it easily after shutdown and...
